February 19, 2025 – KWC AS, Norway’s leading independent provider of valuation services, is joining Svalner Atlas Group. The goal is to create Northern Europe’s leading independent provider of transaction and tax advisory services.

While KWC specializes in valuations and related advisory services, Svalner Atlas Group has its core expertise in tax advisory and financial transaction services.

– We look forward to joining Svalner Atlas Group and becoming part of one of Northern Europe’s leading advisory firms. Svalner Atlas Group has its core expertise within tax advisory, and the plan is to develop a strong professional environment in this field here, says Halvor Grov, Managing Partner at KWC.

Northern European Expansion

Svalner Atlas Group was formed with the ambition of creating the leading independent advisory firm in tax, transaction services, and related fields across the Nordics and the Benelux region.

Including KWC, Svalner Atlas Group now has approximately 300 employees across operations in four European countries, with offices in Stockholm and Gothenburg in Sweden, Helsinki and Turku in Finland, Amsterdam in the Netherlands, and now Norway.

– We have followed KWC for some time and are impressed by the strong market position the company has built. Svalner Atlas Group aims to deliver top-tier advisory services, and KWC’s expertise and service offerings provide a solid platform for strengthening our presence in Norway, says Viktor Sandberg, CEO of Svalner Atlas Group.

Svalner Atlas Group plans to expand further in Northern Europe.

Strong 2024 for KWC

In addition to valuations, KWC provides transaction advisory services such as due diligence, project management, and negotiation support, as well as strategic advice in ownership processes. The company’s professionals also assist clients and legal advisors as experts in legal disputes regarding valuation issues or the assessment of damages and compensation claims.

Since its inception in 2007, KWC has completed more than 4,000 client projects, conducted 1,000 valuations, and served as expert witness in over 300 court and arbitration cases.

During the same period, KWC has delivered solid growth and strong financial results, with 2024 being no exception. Last year, KWC reported operating revenues of nearly NOK 60 million, maintaining its strong profitability. The company expanded its workforce in 2024 and now has 20 employees.

– 2024 has been a year of high activity. We are proud to have had the trust of nearly 300 clients over the past year, supporting them in processes and challenges that are key to achieving their strategic and financial goals. Furthermore, we are very pleased to bring KWC into a larger European consulting firm, enabling us to deliver even more competitive services to both existing and new clients in Norway and abroad, adds Halvor Grov.

All current owners of KWC will continue as owners of Svalner Atlas Group.
